Summer Skies

Dramatic skies are part of life on Skye, our little island in the far north of Scotland. Mountains flooded with crimson light making the lochs beneath look like lilac mirrors.

This is a single image created in the camera using special techniques, I have to visualise the image before I make it and take many attempts before I am happy with it. I then work on it to bring out each colour until my vision is complete.
