The Mayo Clinic Project
Project
Integrated Oncology Building (IOB) – Exam Corridor & 2nd Floor Corridor
The Brief
To provide a series of large-scale artworks for corridor within a state-of-the-art oncology facility—works that would bring calm, continuity, and a sense of reassurance within a highly clinical environment.
The Setting
The Integrated Oncology Building in Jacksonville is designed as a forward-thinking centre for cancer care, uniting advanced treatment technologies with a human-centred architectural vision. Light, material warmth, and spatial clarity are carefully considered to support both patients and medical teams.
The Approach
Six abstract seascapes were selected by the Design and Hospital Teams from a group of seascapes inspired by the quiet expanse of the Hebridean coastline. Each piece explores horizon, movement, and light through soft tonal transitions and restrained colour, allowing the works to sit gently within the architectural rhythm of the corridor.
Rather than functioning as isolated artworks, each of three images was presented as a continuous visual passage—guiding the viewer along the space with a sense of openness and ease.
The Outcome
Installed as a permanent collection, the six works introduce a subtle atmosphere of calm within the clinical setting. The corridors become more than a place of transit; they offer a moment of stillness and quiet reflection.
This project reflects the growing role of art within healthcare and commercial interiors—where carefully considered, large-scale works contribute meaningfully to wellbeing, supporting environments that are not only functional, but deeply human.
Davidson Kempner at 9 West 57th Street in New York City
Selected for the new Davidson Kempner offices at 9 West 57th Street, this project involved the placement of three 30 x 30 inch artworks chosen by the owners in collaboration with a specialist art consultancy. The collection was curated to complement the refined contemporary interiors, bringing atmosphere, texture, and a quiet sense of calm to the space.
The final works were produced as sleek metal prints, chosen for their depth, luminosity, and ability to sit beautifully within the modern architectural setting of this landmark New York building.

“Enduring Art for Interiors of Substance and Presence”
Interior Harmony in Troon Scottsdale
A private residential commission within a large open-plan interior, where mezzanine walls frame living, dining, and entry spaces.
Six large-format artworks were created as a cohesive series—designed to harmonise as one while giving each area its own distinct atmosphere. Subtle shifts in tone and movement bring calm, depth, and clarity to each space, allowing the art to guide the flow of the interior and quietly complete the architecture.
Atmospheric seascape in shades of teal and turquoise were used to complement the panoramic core in the living space.

Healthcare Art Placement | Bespoke Hospital Installation
Three artworks were selected for a hospital interior, including one highly bespoke piece created for a 13-foot architectural niche. This required extensive resizing, careful formatting, and detailed preparation of an existing image to suit the scale, proportions, and setting of the space. The final works brought atmosphere, calm, and visual continuity to a clinical environment, while meeting the practical demands of a large-format healthcare installation.
