Inspired by the shifting light, colour and wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Lynne Douglas creates atmospheric fine art photography that brings a sense of space, calm and quiet beauty to contemporary interiors.
Working from her studio on the Isle of Skye, her art has been exhibited internationally and is held in private, corporate and healthcare collections across the UK, USA, Europe, Asia and Australia. Her work has been selected for significant commercial and healthcare interiors, including a permanent installation of six large-scale works for an oncology building in Jacksonville, Florida.
Known for her large-scale and bespoke pieces, Lynne works with private collectors, interior designers and art consultants worldwide, creating art for homes, hospitality, healthcare and commercial spaces.
“Every artwork begins with a real place and a real moment. I create my photographs on location across Skye, Harris, Orkney and the Scottish Highlands & Islands, using long exposures and intentional camera movement to translate sea, sky and landscape into painterly photographic art.”
