Tranquility, Loch Eck

from £77.00

This is a beautiful image of a small cottage on the side of a quiet loch (lake) in Scotland. This wonderful little loch, named Loch Eck, is a quiet place but has a long and interesting history involving ghosts in nearby inns and secret caves. The loch is particularly beautiful on calm peaceful mornings as the one seen in this image, when the water is completely still and there are mirror like reflections. The tiny cottage lies on the far side, almost unreachable, and each time I pass it I wonder who lives there and what it must be like to live on that side of the water.
